Holocaust Emotion Cards

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Western Galilee College und weiteren Wissenschaftler*innen aus der Holocaust Education entstand ein Kartenspiel mit Kunstwerken von Holocaust Survivern und dem Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions. Es dient als Werkzeug zur Annäherung an die schwierige Thematik Holocaust und lässt sich vielfältig anwenden.

We propose original didactic material based on art works created by victims of the Holocaust. This intimate context serves as a tool for working with emotions implementing the concept of “The Wheel of Emotions” by Plutchik. For example, we developed a deck of cards aimed as an introductory exercise to this difficult topic suitable for students of different ages.
